A colourful collection of paintings, maps and illustrations inspired by Yorkshire and Northumberland
Two artists, two perspectives..
Pamela’s exquisite watercolours express her love of natural forms, particularly flowers and trees. She also enjoys capturing the beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Dales and Richmond. Always experimenting with new materials and techniques, she has expanded her portfolio to include vibrant alcohol ink paintings and abstract acrylic canvases, often inspired by a love of poetry. Her previous exhibitions at the Station have proved popular, and an ever-changing display of her paintings can be found at the Showcase Gallery in Richmond.
Sarah works as a professional artist/illustrator from her studio in Northumberland. Her commissioned work includes maps for the National Trust, Northumberland AONB and the Alnwick Garden. She grew up in North Yorkshire, and her joyful watercolour landscapes and maps reflect her passion for detail and colour, and a strong affinity to the places and wildlife she loves. Her original illustrated maps of the Yorkshire Moors and Dales will be on display, alongside fine art prints of Yorkshire, Newcastle, Durham and Northumberland.
