Hire a space at The Station

Where film, food and art come together, and where your event finds its perfect home.

More than a building, The Station is a thriving venue at the heart of the Richmondshire community. Home to an independent cinema, a buzzing Café | Bar and a celebrated gallery. It's a place where people come to watch, taste, create and connect. And it's the perfect setting for your event.

Whether you're hosting a private party, leading a meeting or presentation, or running a class or workshop, our flexible spaces bring something the usual venue can't: real character, a creative atmosphere, and a warm welcome. Every booking also helps support The Station as a charitable venue, so your event gives something back to the community too.

The Boardroom

The Boardroom occupies a purpose-built space on the mezzanine, complete with its own toilet facilities. Bright and comfortable, with a large screen, hearing loop and air conditioning, it seats up to 12 boardroom-style or 20 theatre-style. It's fully equipped for video calls and hybrid meetings, so colleagues in the room and those joining online can take part with ease, making it ideal for workshops, meetings and presentations.

The Townsend Suite

The Townsend Suite

A bright, modern first-floor space with plenty of natural light and its own toilet facilities. Versatile enough for physical activities and classes, private parties, as well as meetings and workshops, the Townsend Suite seats 16 boardroom-style and up to 35 theatre-style.

£25 per hour

£20 per hour (full day booking 6+ hours)

The Richmond Room

Our most impressive space for larger gatherings, with fixed raked seating for up to 90. With the cinema's atmosphere built in, the Richmond Room is made for conferences, presentations and talks that deserve a proper stage.

£30 per hour

All room hire spaces benefit from complimentary projector and screen (HDMI/VGA connection), speakers (AUX connection), WiFi, flipchart, whiteboard and hearing loop. Please note: hearing loop not available in The Richmond Room.

Catering packages can be arranged through The Station Café | Bar for an additional cost. 

Prices are based on a minimum hire period of 2 full hours. A discount of 20% will be applied when booking a minimum of 3 hires per quarter. All prices include VAT at 20%.

 * The Richmond Room is only available until 1pm.
