February at The Station

February has landed and there's lots to look forward to

The days are steadily getting longer and we’re gearing up for another busy month here at The Station.

This month we have five new art exhibitions to enjoy in our Mezzanine and Platform Galleries, including Northscapes: Sarah Farooqi and Pamela Crawford, and Among Trees: Gordon Gibbons. As well as enjoying the stunning artwork on display, you can also meet the artists during their exhibitions.

There are some fantastic films to see at The Station Cinema this month, including Belfast, written, and directed by Kenneth Brannagh, tipped to be one of the big winners this award season. The Station Cinema will be closed for a few days at the end of this week, from Friday 4th February to Monday 7th February, and will be back open on Tuesday 8th February.

We’re looking forward to blasting off on another action-packed kids craft workshop this February half term! Our Out of this World space themed craft sessions on Friday 25th February are suitable for children aged 4-12, and promise to be lots of fun.

It’s been lovely to see our regular groups and classes returning to The Station this year, and this month Art in a Box will be running another of their workshops, where you can try your hand at painting Canadian scenes in gouache.
