Wellness Week at The Station

Join us at The Station in February as we celebrate Wellness Week. Enjoy some dedicated ‘me time’ at our series of health, well-being and creative events including:

• Reflexology Taster Sessions with CalmSoul - Sunday 4th February and Saturday 10th February

Reflexology helps relaxation and can reduce feelings of anxiety and stress. It can aid sleep and can bring the body back to a balanced, harmonious state. Why not give it a go and see how you feel.

• Playful Art Workshop - Monday 5th February, 10am - 12pm

Prioritise your well being and confidence through playful art. You will ‘play’, explore and learn about new materials and techniques in this relaxed workshop. Reconnect with the magic of colour and experience once again the childlike joy of engaging creatively alongside others.

• Free Yoga Taster Session with Blue Bee Yoga - Thursday 8th February, 11.45am - 12.45pm

For those new to yoga or returning to your practice. Enjoy exploring yoga postures (asanas) and how to adapt them for your own body. Learn about the different breath techniques and how to relax.

Try out Yoga with our regular class leader, Deborah, in this free one-hour taster session. You will need to bring your own mat.

• Free Pilates Taster Session with All About Pilates - Thursday 8th February, 2pm - 3pm

Pilates is a great way to improve balance, flexibility, core strength, muscle tone, posture and breathing in order to maintain your independence and quality of life. If you have never been to a gym or are a regular gym-goer, Pilates will improve your overall body strength and help to keep you injury-free.

• Feel Good February Activity Trail - Saturday 10th – Sunday 25th February, 10am – 4pm daily

Who wants to chase away the winter blues and have some fun in February?? We've scattered lots of ideas for a 'Feel Good February' around The Station - see if you can find them all and collect the clues they contain to make a special 'recipe'.

Complete the trail and return it to the shop for a small prize. Trail sheets are £1 per child and are available from The Station Shop between 10am and 4pm daily.
