Enjoy a private viewing of The Green Howards' special exhibition, Created In Conflict, followed by a special film screening at The Station Cinema
A partnership between The Station Cinema and The Green Howards Museum
You can enjoy a private view of The Green Howards' current special exhibition, Created in Conflict, at the museum, followed by a screening of Drawn to War; a new film revealing the life and work of Eric Ravilious at The Station Cinema.
“The release of this fascinating new film ties in perfectly with the themes of Created in Conflict”, says Lynda Powell, the Green Howards Museum’s Director and Curator. “We’re really pleased to be able to give people the opportunity to delve deeper into our current exhibition, which features work by an official war artist from The First World War – Christopher Nevinson, then explore the life and career of Ravilious, who held the same role during the Second World War.”
There are two opportunities to enjoy the exhibition, hosted by The Green Howards' curatorial team, and see the film. Both events start at The Green Howards Museum, before moving on to The Station Cinema for the screenings:
Saturday 20 August at 3.30pm
Thursday 25 August at 6pm
“We’re delighted to support independent films like Drawn to War,” says General Manager at The Station Cinema, Dan Westgarth. “To be able to create a really great package linking the museum’s current special exhibition and this critically acclaimed new feature is a real bonus.”
