“Every adventure requires a first step.”

Join us at The Station as we journey into the Victorian era to celebrate Richmond's former pupil Lewis Carroll's mesmerising classic, Alice in Wonderland, as part of the Richmond 950 celebrations.

There will be traditional Victorian fairground rides*, a miniature railway, trails to explore, crafts, stories, afternoon tea and much more. A truly memorable weekend for the whole family.

Free admission - with charges/donations for activities.

*suitable for children aged 12 and under

Traditional Fairground Rides, 10am – 4pm, Saturday and Sunday

Roll up, roll up and have a go on our traditional fairground rides including swing boats, miniature train, mini merry-go-round, and games. Charges apply.

Face Painting 10am – 2pm, Saturday and Sunday

Have your face painted - with lots of characters and patterns to choose from you could be the white rabbit or the Cheshire cat. Charges apply.

Alice in Wonderland trail, 10am – 4pm, Saturday and Sunday

Have a go at our Alice in Wonderland themed trail as you explore The Station – how many white rabbits will you find? Charges apply.

Punch and Judy, 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, Saturday only

Enjoy a performance of Punch and Judy, a traditional slapstick puppet show. Meet the puppets and enjoy some traditional craft activities after each performance. Free to attend with voluntary donations welcome.

Rhonda Storyteller and Crafts, 10:30am, 11:45am, 1:00pm, Sunday only

Join Rhonda for stories and Alice in Wonderland themed kids crafts – running throughout the day on Sunday.

Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea at The Station Cafe | Bar, 2pm – 7pm, Saturday and Sunday


The Station Café | Bar will be serving a delicious Mad Hatter's Afternoon Tea, full of tantalising sweet treats and savoury delights, including magic colour changing potions, Alice's scones with clotted cream and jam, washed down with Mad Hatter Tea.

Join one of our very special heritage tours of The Station building to discover more about the buildings fascinating history, and to find out how it has evolved over the years. Free to attend with voluntary donations welcome.

Richmond Brewing Company - Mad Hatter's Beer Party, Saturday and Sunday, 10am til late

The Brewery will be holding a Mad Hatters Party with live music and 6 different beers on draft.
