Jolly Melodies are fun, friendly weekly music classes suitable for babies and young children from birth to school. Through singing, movement and playful music-making, children are gently introduced to the foundations of music while learning, laughing and having lots of fun together.

Each half term brings a brand-new theme, with songs, musical games and activities carefully planned to support your child’s early development in line with the EYFS. Everything is designed especially for little ones, so learning happens naturally through play.

Our classes are relaxed, welcoming and full of smiles — a lovely space for parents, grandparents and carers to enjoy special musical moments with their child. Along the way, children grow in confidence, coordination, communication and creativity, all while discovering the joy of music.

What children love doing in Jolly Melodies

• Singing favourite songs and catchy new ones

• Moving, bouncing, dancing and wiggling to the music

• Exploring lots of percussion instruments and different sounds

• Building listening and attention skills through musical games

• Expressing themselves and growing in confidence

• Developing early language, coordination and social skills

Our Classes:

Young Jolly Babies

Birth – approx. 8 months

A calm, gentle class full of soothing songs, cuddles and sensory play. Perfect for bonding, early listening and introducing your baby to music in a relaxed, nurturing way.

Jolly Babies

Birth – approx. 15 months

A cheerful, interactive class as babies become more alert and on the move. Expect lots of singing, actions, vocal play and musical exploration to support communication and coordination.

Jolly Toddlers

Approx. 15 months – school age

A lively, engaging class packed with action songs, instruments and musical games. Children build confidence, learn to listen and take turns, and love joining in as their independence grows.

Jolly Independent

3–4 years

A fun, confidence-boosting class for children ready to join in more independently. Through songs, rhythm games and group music-making, children develop listening skills, creativity and social confidence — all while having a brilliant time and building skills that support school readiness.

Younger siblings under 12 months attend Jolly Toddler classes with their older sibling free of charge.
