Half term fun and festive events at The Station this month

The nights are drawing in – but there’s no need to feel gloomy - we've got lots of exciting things lined up as we head full steam towards a busy festive season at The Station!

With a couple of days left of the autumn half term, there’s still time to have a go at our The Phantom Poet Halloween Activity Trail, which runs until tomorrow. Trail sheets are just £1 and can be purchased from The Station Shop, which is open daily from 10am – 4pm.

You’ll be spoilt for choice at The Station Cinema this month, with some fantastic new releases hitting our screens. The Choral, written by Alan Bennett, stars Ralph Fiennes as determined chorus master Dr. Henry Guthrie, set in the fictional town of Ramsden, Yorkshire. We've also got Nuremberg, Zootropolis 2, and the highly anticipated release of Wicked: For Good, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. We’ve got some great titles showing as part of the French Film Festival which we'll be hosting later this month, including The Stranger, A Private Life, The Dinner Game, and Sirat. Book now for our Christmas screenings, which start on Friday 5^th December!

Book your table at The Station Café | Bar, to enjoy a meal with family and friends this month – our new Autumn/Winter menu is full of delicious seasonal flavours. We have just released tickets for our Wicked: For Good themed dinner and film screening on Sunday 23rd November - we know this event is going to be pop-u-lar! You can also book now to enjoy our Christmas Menu, which will be served from Wednesday – Sunday from 3rd  December, or a delicious Festive Afternoon Tea from Friday 5th December. Tickets are selling like hotcakes for our Christmas Jazz Nights, on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th December – book early to avoid disappointment!

Our Festive Workshops get underway this month with Stained Glass Christmas Angels, Beginners Christmas Calligraphy, Pizza, Paint & Prosecco and Christmas Wreaths, just a few of the lovely creative activities we have on offer. Later this month we’ll have our Christmas Gifts Platform Pop-Up, and Father Christmas will be back in The Present Sorting Office on selected dates in the run up to Christmas too. In The Station Gallery this month, we have seven exhibitions for you to enjoy, including Darlington Society of Arts Annual Exhibition, and Botanical, Treasure and Landscapes, an exhibition of cyanotypes, mixed media and prints by Collaborative Art. And if you fancy having your artwork on show in our gallery spaces – bookings are now open for Richmond’s biggest open art exhibition 'A Spot On The Wall’ which returns to The Station from Thursday 4th December 2025 - Wednesday 14th January 2026.
