Exciting Opportunity for Artists: Summer Spot 2026 Returns to The Station
The Station is delighted to announce the return of Summer Spot 2026, an exciting opportunity for artists to exhibit their work during one of the busiest times of the year.
Following the continued success of the much-loved winter exhibition A Spot on the Wall, last year’s introduction of a summer edition proved equally popular with both artists and visitors. Due to this enthusiastic response, Summer Spot returns for 2026, this time taking place in the vibrant Platform Gallery.
Running from 4 June to 1 July 2026, the exhibition offers artists the chance to showcase their work to a high volume of visitors in a lively and engaging setting. However, due to the nature of the gallery space, places are strictly limited.
Open to amateur, emerging, and established artists, Summer Spot 2026 welcomes a wide range of media. The exhibition operates on a simple and accessible format, with each artist able to book one “spot” for a single hanging artwork, or alternatively hire a cabinet for non-hanging work.
Key details at a glance:
- One hanging spot per artist (maximum one per artist)
- Cabinets available for non-hanging work (limited availability)
- Fees: £50 per hanging spot | £75 per cabinet
- Exhibition dates: 4 June – 1 July 2026
Unlike a selection-based exhibition, Summer Spot uses a direct booking system, allowing artists to secure their place quickly. As demand is expected to be high, early booking is strongly encouraged.

Once ready, artists can secure their place by completing the online booking form and arranging payment as outlined. Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established and popular exhibition format, connect with a wide audience, and showcase your work in a professional gallery environment.
Don’t delay, be part of Summer Spot 2026.
