We have loved the sunny weather over the last few weeks - Summer is just around the corner and what a line up we have for you this month!
Downton Abbey: A New Era, and Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are the two big new releases at The Station Cinema as we start the month. From Saturday May 7th we are trialling our new 'Little Engines Kids Club', with a different family film screened at 11am every Saturday morning - tickets are just £4 per child and includes a sweet or salted popcorn. We've also got a live screening of The Royal Ballet's production of Swan Lake, A-Ha: The Movie, and National Theatre Live: Straight Line Crazy, starring Ralph Fiennes.
At The Station Cafe | Bar we are looking forward to a fabulous evening of food and smooth jazz on Friday 6th May, as we welcome The Joseph Carville Trio for our spring Jazz Night. Our new summer menu is coming soon - watch this space!
Our three gallery spaces will be a riot of colour and texture this month with exhibitions including embroidery, printwork and sculpture, taking inspiration from the local landscape, and the natural world. Towards the end of the month we will host two exhibitions as part of the Swaledale Festival's 50th anniversary.
This month also sees the start of Yoga for All sessions at The Station, with experienced yoga practitioner Deborah Meara, as well as our other regular groups and classes which continue throughout the summer term.
