Thursday 27th September 2018 @ 2:30pm
A Walking and Book Festival event.
The years immediately after 1918 were a time of great political, social and economic change. In Aftermath Graham seeks to examine how the events of this turbulent period were shaped by the Great War and how they, in turn, influenced the years beyond.
Including the Spanish flu epidemic, women's enfranchisement and the influence of Dr Marie Stopes, the emergence of modern Ireland, the Russian Revolution and development of both American and modern society, this was a period that truly shaped the 20th century.
Held in the Townsend Suite
