It's all about our love of books at The Station this month, as we head into September!

September sees the return of the annual Richmond Walking and Book Festival, and we've got four fantastic talks taking place at The Station as part of the busy programme of events. On Sunday 24th September we'll also be hosting another Book Fair at The Station - come along and browse through a variety of new, second-hand, antiquarian and collectable books from expert sellers on The Station platform  - as well as our regular ‘Lost and Found’ book stall. Heaven for book worms and collectors!

Following on from the success of our previous Bookbinding Workshops, we have a further two sessions running this month, on Wednesday 20th, and Sunday 24th September - places are limited and early booking is advised.

We start September with a celebration of all things film as we celebrate National Cinema Day at The Station Cinema on Saturday 2nd September. We'll be open from the earlier time of 9am on Saturday 2nd, and all tickets for all screenings on National Cinema Day will be just £3! And that's not all - we've got some great new releases this month, including A Haunting in Venice, with Kenneth Branagh returning as Inspector Hercule Poirot, Korean drama Past Lives, and a very special screening of ABBA: The Movie which is guaranteed to get your toes tapping - Book online now!

At The Station Cafe | Bar we're now taking bookings for our next Murder Mystery event which takes place on Saturday 28th October at 7pm. We’ve got six exhibitions for you to enjoy over the course of the month in our three gallery spaces, including 12 Views of Kisdon, an exhibition of photographs accompanied by short essays about Kisdon Hill, by Richard Walls, and artwork in various media inspired by the Dales and Moors by Brigantia at The Station. 

Our regular groups and classes start up again this month and there's still time to join in with a variety of activities including language classes, pilates and yoga sessions, singing, and mother and baby groups - you'll find full details on our website.
