September at The Station

This year Richmond celebrates its 950th Birthday, and this month we're joining in with the celebrations at The Station with the first of our events in partnership with Richmond 950.

Our Celebrate Our Town exhibition starts on Friday 3rd September, and will showcase art and photography inspired by Richmond and the surrounding area.

The Station is the meeting point for many of the Richmond Walking and Book Festival walks this month. The festival runs from the 18th - 26th September, and we're also hosting four of the festival talks this year.

Later in September we're giving you the opportunity to join a free training session with the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, who will be teaching us how to use the new defibrillator that has been installed at The Station by the Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust.

September also sees the return of regular classes and activities at The Station, including Italian and French language courses with Judith McLeod, yoga and tai chi sessions, and The Station Singers.
