Three February late nights for first birthday!
The Shop is celebrating its first birthday with a series of late night opening events in February.
With a selection of design-led artworks, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery and cards carefully chosen by Thea and Sue, we aim to present exquisite and exciting work at affordable prices.
Currently stocking ceramic pieces by Jenny Morten, animal sculptures by Catherine Boyne-Whitelegg and charter studies by Ruth Charlton, with a wide variety of contemporary jewellery, upcycled inner tube wallets and bicycle ephemera by young designers, Recycle and Bicycle, art cards and wool blankets, The Shop is fast becoming a design destination.
In its first year, The Shop has established a reputation for quality, with one customer commenting, "Didn't expect to find this calibre of art and design outside London, what a bonus for Richmond."
The Shop has secured agreements with two jewellery makers to become the exclusive North Yorkshire stockist for Etnika and Siren Silver.
Thea is an expert style spotter and has collaborated with artists to create pieces specifically for sale in The Shop, whilst Sue is an artist and arts professional with years of gallery buying experience.
The Shop is operated by the charity which runs The Station and profits from sales are reinvested, helping with the upkeep of the building.
