Win an original painting by Sue Dewhurst

Artist Sue Dewhurst has donated her original painting of The Station, plus the rights to 100 signed limited edition prints, in celebration of our tenth birthday.

Sue explains, "I felt compelled to do something as an artist to mark The Station's 10th birthday. The renovation was completed as I moved to the area and I had heard many things about The Station from my late father, who completed his National Service in Catterick and often spoke of his train journey from Lancashire.

In the early days I was on the art panel, helping to select artists and hanging exhibitions with Red Dot and the various gallery managers. I had my first solo exhibition of this area here and feel I have generally 'grown up' as an artist within its walls."

Sue is also The Shop at The Station's Retail Co-ordinator, as well as a regular exhibiting artist.

She next shows her work as part of With These Hands and Eyes, an exhibition a collective of local artists known as Arts Collective 'Take 8'. More of Sue's work can also be found at www.suedewhurst.co.uk

Tickets will be available to purchase at our coffee morning at Richmond Town Hall on 26th August and then at The Station, ready to be drawn on the day of our tenth birthday, on 9th November 2017.

Prints are available to buy now from The Shop.
